I did a speedtest and it was normal, my average ~20-30 ping, 25mb down, ~1 up, so I did a Malwarebytes full scan overnight. After that, I decided to test it with another game, Counter Strike: Source. I went into processes, ended any and every process that I could without crashing the system. Right as I notice the lag, I try to close any programs that might be taking bandwidth or anything else, nothing worked. About 2 days ago, I started noticing that my ping was rising upwards of 500-1200 at peak, (usually stable 90 ping) and this was odd because I haven't had an issue with lag in months. I play this game called League of Legends on a regular basis. I will explain the whole situation, but will have a TL DR at the bottom I guess. I don't necessarily know if this would be the correct section to post this in, but I will try it anyways.
